We finally sold our home in Lander!

It was a good house for us. Our first house, a reality we didn't think was possible at the time. We loved this house. We had many plans and visions of what could become of it through the years, unfortunately not able to see many of them come about. (I finally figured out what to do with my yard, just in time to have to leave.) We couldn't have asked for better neighbors, with so many kids, good people, good friends, and my parents just a few minutes down the road. We'll miss all the people the most. But now someone else owns the home, someone else to make memories there, and hopefully figure out what to plant in the yard.

It feels good to finally have the house sold, to now move on to a new house, a new home, new friends, a new life. But like a first love, this house will always hold a special place in our hearts. The place we brought our youngest home from the hospital, the place Courtney grew from a little girl to a beautiful young woman. The place Bruce and I discovered what our true dreams and goals for ourselves and our children really were.

I remember when we sold our home in Clinton, it was bitter sweet. I'm so glad you finally sold it, and that it's out of your hair for good. Good luck with your new home and your new memories!

Yay! I'm so happy for you guys! What a relief to have that behind you. But visiting Lander just won't be the same without you there--hanging out at your house, eating wildflower sandwhiches and watching girly movies. sigh.
I can't wait to come see your new house.
